THE RESERVE LIST

“NORA” BALADIN, PIOZZO, ITALY 25.4oz (2 left!) $25
“NORA” (SMALL BOTTLES) 8.5oz
$10
Nora tells of ancient history, nomadic people and pyramids, spices and khorasan wheat. Its warm, orange-amber color is complemented by a tall head which releases notes of Eastern aromas, ginger and citrus fruit.

“SUPER” BALADIN, PIOZZO, ITALY 25.4oz 25
“SUPER” (SMALL BOTTLES) 8.5oz
$10
Super takes inspiration from abbey beers and interprets them with its own style. It has a gleaming amber color, smells of tropical fruit, banana and marzipan and leaves a harmonious aftertaste of dried fruit and almonds.

MY ÁNTONIA BIRRA DEL BORGO
DOGFISHHEAD, 7.5%, 25.4oz
$25
My Ántonia (pronounced with the accent on the first syllable of "Ántonia") is named after a novel by American writer Willa Cather, and is a continually-hopped imperial pilsner. This lager-for-ale-lovers is citrusy, sweet and refined. Great when paired with our octopus, bresaola, or salmon dishes.

DEL BORGO RUBUS RASPBERRY SOUR
5.8%, ITALY, 12.7OZ
$15
This beer is made with handpicked raspberries from the Sudtirol Alps in northern Italy. A true treat for sour-fans, our supply is as limited as the given year’s raspberry crop.

DUCHESSIC DUCHESSA/LAMBIC BLEND
BIRRA DEL BORGO, 5.8%, 11.2oz
$15
A sort of “collaboration brew” with the famous Belgian brewery Brasserie Cantillon: an interesting experiment about spontaneous fermentations. The traditional Duchessa - spelt beer - has been cut with a 20% of one year old lambic from Brasserie Cantillon. The result is a unique beer that extraordinarily merges the lambic sharp and sour characteristics with the gentle notes of Duchessa. A real gem; not to be missed.

CAOS BREWED w/MALVAZIA GRAPES
BIRRA DEL BORGO, 7.5%, 25.4oz (1 left!)
$25
Duchessa wort is added to the must of Malvazia: a white, aromatic variety of grape. It has a nice, gentle sharpness and an unusually fruity nose. The beer is bottle-fermented using Champagne-yeasts, and it has a quite intense perlage. A perfect apertif.

SCHLENKERLA RAUCHBIER SMOKED WHEAT BEER
GERMANY 5.2%, 500mL
$10
Its smoky flavor is achieved by exposing the malt to the intense, aromatic smoke of burning beech-wood logs at the Schlenkerla-maltings. After mixing it with premium-class hops in the brew, it
matures in 700 year old cellars, deep down in the hills of Bamberg, into a mellow, magnificent-tasting beer.

RODENBACH ROESELARE
BELGIUM, 5.2%, 11.2oz
$6
Rodenbach is a unique Belgian ale known as the Flemish Red-Brown Ale. This is a mixed-fermentation ale matured in oak vats, giving it a sweet/sour taste and a complex bouquet. Rodenbach is a blend of ¾ “young” ale and ¼ ale that has been matured for over two years.

HITACHINO NEST PILSNER
JAPAN, 6.5%, 11.2 oz
$8
Brewed using the revived Japanese breed of Kanego Golden barley, which was first developed in 1900, along with another strain of hops called 'Japanese-bred Sorachi Ace'. Nipponia is a delightfully golden colored beer with citrus edge and complex and lingering taste.
